Accokeek Academy PTSA exists on this platform with the help and support of our school, families, and community. Becoming involved in the PTSA and our activities is a contribution and investment into your child’s education and well-being. The members of Accokeek Academy PTSA are part of a great group of people that exist to:
Advocate for our students – we identify the needs within the school and then identify methods and strategies to satisfy those needs.
Sustain a Family-School Partnership – provides a forum for the exchange of ideas between school and family.
Create an atmosphere of learning that includes educational fun for home and school.
Identify educational resources and implement strategies to provide the resources through fundraising.
- Building community and strengthening the family-school partnership through fun events
- Fundraising for school needs such as equipment, field trips, and special events
- Developing partnerships for healthy food programming
